I walk out my front door, each morning, to look at the Fir and Pine trees which have survived man. The trees are not Old Growth in size, but will be if I have anything to say about their welfare, now and in the future. I am teaching my grand children to love the land and to protect it for themselves and for all who come after them.
“Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned
And the last fish caught will we realize we cannot eat money.”
– Indian Proverb
Note: I spend or have spent most of my time writing for publication and now realize that I need to return to the writing I love best.
